About Landing Soon

Every week brings another announcement about robots in the home, cars that drive themselves and AI that does the paperwork. Very little of it tells you when you can actually buy the thing in the UK, or what it will cost. Landing Soon does only that.

How it works

The arrivals board tracks each technology from announcement to UK availability. Every item has a status (landed, due, delayed or not orderable), the best-sourced UK date and price we can find, a timeline of what was promised and when, and links to every source.

The newsletter goes out every Tuesday at 7am. It covers what shipped, what's due next and what slipped, and what each change means for people who run UK businesses and households.

Who writes it

Landing Soon is produced by The Arrivals Desk. Research and first drafts are done with AI tools, which lets us check far more sources each week than a person could. Every issue and every board change is then reviewed by Phil Bell, the editor, before it's published. We say so up front because a newsletter about separating hype from reality should be straight about how it's made.

Corrections

If a date, price or claim on the board is wrong or out of date, email hello@landingsoon.co.uk. We correct mistakes promptly and note significant corrections in the next issue.

Who publishes it

Landing Soon is an independent publication of Project Forward Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 16873528), based in Leeds. We aren't paid by any of the companies we track.

How we make money

Today we don't. When something on the board has landed, its page lists where you can get it in the UK, and those are plain links. In future some may become affiliate links, which pay us a small commission if you buy, at no cost to you. Any page with affiliate links says so right next to them.

Commercial links never decide what goes on the board, what status it gets or what we say about it. If we take sponsorship, it will be clearly labelled and kept separate from the board.
